A traditional Indian kilim rug, with a typical central asian design. Panja handloomed fabrics are made with thick threads and skilfully woven using a tool of the same name.

The 80% wool and 20% cotton mix make for a resilient rug, remaining soft to the touch. The intricate pattern and warm shades are of the kind traded by merchants on the ancient Silk Road, taking in the town of Khiva. Raspberry/plum tones are highlighted with pale gold, light blue and white contrasts. Finished with fringed edging to the shorter sides, this rug is beautifully bohemian, classically cultural.

Made by a GoodWeave accredited supplier, giving the best assurance that no child labour was used in the making of this product. Our suppliers both contribute a % of the value of the rugs/furnishings purchased to GoodWeave which then goes back into the communities where they are made!

It measures 75 x 120cm and is gently preloved but in great condition. RRP is £89.99.
